Houston Vacation Rental Design Project

Our latest vacation rental project took us down south to Houston, Texas! Our clients wanted an upscale themed home that would stand out amongst the sea of other vacation home listings. Together we came up with the idea of a museum concept, where every room felt like a different exhibit in a museum. We have an art gallery, a dinosaur room, a butterfly room, and a flower/garden room. This was one of our most fun projects to date, and we're excited to finally show it off!

Living room:
We made this our waiting area to the museum, with cozy touches and comfortable furniture. Hints of history and art are casually incorporated to give a nod to the overall theme without being over the top.

Dining Room: The dining room was inspired by an art gallery, and adds lots of visual interest to the space! With lots of conversation pieces in this room, it makes for a fun-filled meal amongst guests.

Dinosaur Room: We installed a dinosaur mural wallpaper, and it has been a MAJOR hit with guests so far. The whimsicality of the wallpaper offers a fun vibe of being on vacation, but still has an air of elegance.

The Butterfly room: The butterfly room again offers a themed wallpaper decals that enrobe you in a butterfly exhibit. Fun mustard/rust colored drapery the color of a monarch's wings.

Solarium: The flora and fauna artwork on the walls and rich jewel tones help guests feel ensconced in a "solarium". This room is another crowd pleaser, and for good reason!
